2קוֹלִי אֶל־אֱלֹהִים וְאֶצְעָקָה קוֹלִי אֶל־אֱלֹהִים וְהַאֲזִין אֵלָֽיI cry aloud to God; I cry to God that I may be heard.Koli el-elohim veetzakah koli el-elohim vehaazin elay
3בְּיוֹם צָרָתִי אֲדֹנָי דָּרָשְׁתִּי יָדִי לַיְלָה נִגְּרָה וְלֹא תָפוּג מֵאֲנָה הִנָּחֵם נַפְשִֽׁיIn my time of distress I turn to my Sovereign, with my hand [uplifted]; [my eyes] flow all night without respite; I will not be comforted.Beyom tzarati adonay darashti yadi laylah nigrah velo tafug meanah hinachem nafshi
4אֶזְכְּרָה אֱלֹהִים וְאֶהֱמָיָה אָשִׂיחָה וְתִתְעַטֵּף רוּחִי סֶֽלָהI call God to mind, I moan, I complain, my spirit fails. Selah.Ezkrah elohim veehemayah asichah vetitatef ruchi selah
5אָחַזְתָּ שְׁמֻרוֹת עֵינָי נִפְעַמְתִּי וְלֹא אֲדַבֵּֽרYou have held my eyelids open; I am overwrought, I cannot speak.Achazta shemurot eynay nifamti velo adaber
6חִשַּׁבְתִּי יָמִים מִקֶּדֶם שְׁנוֹת עוֹלָמִֽיםMy thoughts turn to days of old, to years long past.Chishavti yamim mikedem shenot olamim
7אֶזְכְּרָה נְגִינָתִי בַּלָּיְלָה עִם־לְבָבִי אָשִׂיחָה וַיְחַפֵּשׂ רוּחִֽיI recall at night their jibes at me; I commune with myself; my spirit inquires,Ezkrah neginati balaylah im-levavi asichah vaychapes ruchi
8הַֽלְעוֹלָמִים יִזְנַח אֲדֹנָי וְלֹא־יֹסִיף לִרְצוֹת עֽוֹד“Will my Sovereign reject forever and never again show favor?Halolamim yiznach adonay velo-yosif lirtzot od
9הֶאָפֵס לָנֶצַח חַסְדּוֹ גָּמַר אֹמֶר לְדֹר וָדֹֽרHas such faithfulness disappeared forever? Will those promises be unfulfilled for all time?Heafes lanetzach chasdo gamar omer ledor vador
10הֲשָׁכַח חַנּוֹת אֵל אִם־קָפַץ בְּאַף רַחֲמָיו סֶֽלָהHas God forgotten how to pity? Has God’s compassion been stifled in anger?” Selah.Hashachach chanot el im-kafatz beaf rachamayv selah
11וָאֹמַר חַלּוֹתִי הִיא שְׁנוֹת יְמִין עֶלְיֽוֹןAnd I said, “It is my fault that the right hand of the Most High has changed.”Vaomar chaloti hi shenot yemin elyon
12(אזכיר) [אֶזְכּוֹר] מַעַלְלֵי־יָהּ כִּֽי־אֶזְכְּרָה מִקֶּדֶם פִּלְאֶֽךָI recall the deeds of Yah; yes, I recall Your wonders of old;(zchyr) [ezkor] maalley-yah ki-ezkrah mikedem pilecha
13וְהָגִיתִי בְכׇל־פׇּעֳלֶךָ וּֽבַעֲלִילוֹתֶיךָ אָשִֽׂיחָהI recount all Your works; I speak of Your acts.Vehagiti vechol-poolecha uvaaliloteycha asichah
14אֱלֹהִים בַּקֹּדֶשׁ דַּרְכֶּךָ מִי־אֵל גָּדוֹל כֵּאלֹהִֽיםO God, Your ways are holiness; what god is as great as God?Elohim bakodesh darkecha mi-el gadol kelohim
15אַתָּה הָאֵל עֹשֵׂה פֶלֶא הוֹדַעְתָּ בָעַמִּים עֻזֶּֽךָYou are the God who works wonders; You have manifested Your strength among the peoples.Atah hael oseh fele hodata vaamim uzecha
16גָּאַלְתָּ בִּזְרוֹעַ עַמֶּךָ בְּנֵֽי־יַעֲקֹב וְיוֹסֵף סֶֽלָהBy Your arm You redeemed Your people, the children of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.Gaalta bizroa amecha beney-yaakov veyosef selah
17רָאוּךָ מַּיִם אֱֽלֹהִים רָאוּךָ מַּיִם יָחִילוּ אַף יִרְגְּזוּ תְהֹמֽוֹתThe waters saw You, O God, the waters saw You and were convulsed; the very deep quaked as well.Raucha mayim elohim raucha mayim yachilu af yirgzu tehomot

19קוֹל רַעַמְךָ בַּגַּלְגַּל הֵאִירוּ בְרָקִים תֵּבֵל רָגְזָה וַתִּרְעַשׁ הָאָֽרֶץYour thunder rumbled like wheels; lightning lit up the world; the earth quaked and trembled.Kol raamcha bagalgal heiru verakim tevel ragzah vatirash haaretz
20בַּיָּם דַּרְכֶּךָ (ושביליך) [וּֽשְׁבִילְךָ] בְּמַיִם רַבִּים וְעִקְּבוֹתֶיךָ לֹא נֹדָֽעוּYour way was through the sea, Your path, through the mighty waters; Your tracks could not be seen.Bayam darkecha (vshvylych) [ushvilcha] bemayim rabim veikvoteycha lo nodau
