1לַמְנַצֵּחַ בִּנְגִינֹת מַשְׂכִּיל לְדָוִֽדFor the leader; with instrumental music. A maskil of David,Lamnatzecha binginot maskil ledavid
2בְּבֹא הַזִּיפִים וַיֹּאמְרוּ לְשָׁאוּל הֲלֹא דָוִד מִסְתַּתֵּר עִמָּֽנוּwhen the Ziphites came and told Saul, “Know, David is in hiding among us.”Bevo hazifim vayomru leshaul halo david mistater imanu
3אֱלֹהִים בְּשִׁמְךָ הוֹשִׁיעֵנִי וּבִגְבוּרָתְךָ תְדִינֵֽנִיO God, deliver me by Your name; by Your power vindicate me.Elohim beshimcha hoshieni uvigvuratcha tedineni
4אֱלֹהִים שְׁמַע תְּפִלָּתִי הַאֲזִינָה לְאִמְרֵי־פִֽיO God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.Elohim shema tefilati haazinah leimrey-fi
5כִּי זָרִים קָמוּ עָלַי וְֽעָרִיצִים בִּקְשׁוּ נַפְשִׁי לֹא שָׂמוּ אֱלֹהִים לְנֶגְדָּם סֶֽלָהFor strangers have risen against me, and those who are ruthless seek my life; they are unmindful of God. Selah.Ki zarim kamu alay vearitzim bikshu nafshi lo samu elohim lenegdam selah
6הִנֵּה אֱלֹהִים עֹזֵר לִי אֲדֹנָי בְּֽסֹמְכֵי נַפְשִֽׁיSee, God is my helper; my Sovereign is my support.Hineh elohim ozer li adonay besomchey nafshi
7(ישוב) [יָשִׁיב] הָרַע לְשֹׁרְרָי בַּאֲמִתְּךָ הַצְמִיתֵֽם[God] will repay the evil of my watchful foes; by Your faithfulness, destroy them!(yshvv) [yashiv] hara leshorray baamitcha hatzmitem
8בִּנְדָבָה אֶזְבְּחָה־לָּךְ אוֹדֶה־שִּׁמְךָ יְהֹוָה כִּי־טֽוֹבThen I will offer You a freewill sacrifice; I will praise Your name, ETERNAL One, for it is good,Bindavah ezbchah-lach odeh-shimcha Adonai ki-tov
9כִּי מִכׇּל־צָרָה הִצִּילָנִי וּבְאֹיְבַי רָאֲתָה עֵינִֽיfor it has saved me from my foes, and let me gaze triumphant upon my enemies.Ki mikol-tzarah hitzilani uvoyvay raatah eyni
