2גָּדוֹל יְהֹוָה וּמְהֻלָּל מְאֹד בְּעִיר אֱלֹהֵינוּ הַר־קׇדְשֽׁוֹGOD is great and much acclaimed in the city of our God, the holy mountain—Gadol Adonai umhulal meod beir eloheynu har-kodsho
3יְפֵה נוֹף מְשׂוֹשׂ כׇּל־הָאָרֶץ הַר־צִיּוֹן יַרְכְּתֵי צָפוֹן קִרְיַת מֶלֶךְ רָֽבfair-crested, joy of all the earth, Mount Zion, summit of Zaphon, city of the great ruler.Yefeh nof mesos kol-haaretz har-tzion yarktey tzafon kiryat melech rav
4אֱלֹהִים בְּאַרְמְנוֹתֶיהָ נוֹדַע לְמִשְׂגָּֽבThrough its citadels, God has become known as a haven.Elohim bearmnotey noda lemisgav
5כִּֽי־הִנֵּה הַמְּלָכִים נוֹעֲדוּ עָבְרוּ יַחְדָּֽוSee, the kings joined forces; they advanced together.Ki-hineh hamlachim noadu avru yachdav
6הֵמָּה רָאוּ כֵּן תָּמָהוּ נִבְהֲלוּ נֶחְפָּֽזוּAt the mere sight of it they were stunned, they were terrified, they panicked;Hemah rau ken tamahu nivhalu nechpazu
7רְעָדָה אֲחָזָתַם שָׁם חִיל כַּיּוֹלֵדָֽהthey were seized there with a trembling, like a woman in the throes of labor,Readah achazatam sham chil kayoledah
8בְּרוּחַ קָדִים תְּשַׁבֵּר אֳנִיּוֹת תַּרְשִֽׁישׁas the Tarshish fleet was wrecked in an easterly gale.Berucha kadim teshaber oniot tarshish
9כַּאֲשֶׁר שָׁמַעְנוּ כֵּן רָאִינוּ בְּעִיר־יְהֹוָה צְבָאוֹת בְּעִיר אֱלֹהֵינוּ אֱלֹהִים יְכוֹנְנֶהָ עַד־עוֹלָם סֶֽלָהThe likes of what we heard we have now witnessed in the city of GOD of hosts, in the city of our God— may God preserve it forever! 13סֹבּוּ צִיּוֹן וְהַקִּיפוּהָ סִפְרוּ מִגְדָּלֶֽיהָWalk around Zion, circle it; count its towers,Sobu tzion vehakifu sifru migdaley
14שִׁיתוּ לִבְּכֶם לְֽחֵילָהֿ פַּסְּגוּ אַרְמְנוֹתֶיהָ לְמַעַן תְּסַפְּרוּ לְדוֹר אַחֲרֽוֹןtake note of its ramparts; go through its citadels, that you may recount it to a future age.Shitu libchem lecheylah pasgu armnotey lemaan tesapru ledor acharon
15כִּי זֶה אֱלֹהִים אֱלֹהֵינוּ עוֹלָם וָעֶד הוּא יְנַהֲגֵנוּ עַל־מֽוּתFor God truly is our God forever, who will lead us evermore.Ki zeh elohim eloheynu olam vaed hu yenahagenu al-mut
