2חַלְּצֵנִי יְהֹוָה מֵאָדָם רָע מֵאִישׁ חֲמָסִים תִּנְצְרֵֽנִיRescue me, O ETERNAL One, from evildoers; save me from lawless opponents,Chaltzeni Adonai meadam ra meish chamasim tintzreni
3אֲשֶׁר חָשְׁבוּ רָעוֹת בְּלֵב כׇּל־יוֹם יָגוּרוּ מִלְחָמֽוֹתwhose minds are full of evil schemes, who plot war every day.Asher chashvu raot belev kol-yom yaguru milchamot
4שָׁנְנוּ לְשׁוֹנָם כְּֽמוֹ־נָחָשׁ חֲמַת עַכְשׁוּב תַּחַת שְׂפָתֵימוֹ סֶֽלָהThey sharpen their tongues like serpents; spiders’ poison is on their lips. Selah.Shannu leshonam kemo-nachash chamat achshuv tachat sefateymo selah
5שׇׁמְרֵנִי יְהֹוָה מִידֵי רָשָׁע מֵאִישׁ חֲמָסִים תִּנְצְרֵנִי אֲשֶׁר חָשְׁבוּ לִדְחוֹת פְּעָמָֽיO ETERNAL One, keep me out of the clutches of the wicked; save me from lawless opponents who scheme to make me fall.Shomreni Adonai midey rasha meish chamasim tintzreni asher chashvu lidchot peamay
6טָמְנֽוּ־גֵאִים פַּח לִי וַחֲבָלִים פָּרְשׂוּ רֶשֶׁת לְיַד־מַעְגָּל מֹקְשִׁים שָׁתוּ־לִי סֶֽלָהArrogant ones laid traps with ropes for me; they spread out a net along the way; they set snares for me. Selah.Tamnu-geim pach li vachavalim parsu reshet leyad-magal mokshim shatu-li selah

8יֱהֹוִה אֲדֹנָי עֹז יְשׁוּעָתִי סַכֹּתָה לְרֹאשִׁי בְּיוֹם נָֽשֶׁקO GOD, my Sovereign, the strength of my deliverance, You protected my head on the day of battle.Yehovi adonay oz yeshuati sakotah leroshi beyom nashek
9אַל־תִּתֵּן יְהֹוָה מַאֲוַיֵּי רָשָׁע זְמָמוֹ אַל־תָּפֵק יָרוּמוּ סֶֽלָהO ETERNAL One, do not grant the desires of the wicked; do not let their plan succeed, else they be exalted. Selah.Al-titen Adonai maavayey rasha zemamo al-tafek yarumu selah

11(ימיטו) [יִמּוֹטוּ] עֲלֵיהֶם גֶּחָלִים בָּאֵשׁ יַפִּלֵם בְּמַהֲמֹרוֹת בַּל־יָקֽוּמוּMay coals of fire drop down upon them, and they be cast into pits, never to rise again.(ymytv) [yimotu] aleyhem gechalim baesh yapilem bemahamorot bal-yakumu
12אִישׁ לָשׁוֹן בַּל־יִכּוֹן בָּאָרֶץ אִישׁ־חָמָס רָע יְצוּדֶנּוּ לְמַדְחֵפֹֽתLet slanderers have no place in the land; let the evil of the lawless drive them into corrals.Ish lashon bal-yikon baaretz ish-chamas ra yetzudenu lemadchefot
13(ידעת) [יָדַעְתִּי] כִּֽי־יַעֲשֶׂה יְהֹוָה דִּין עָנִי מִשְׁפַּט אֶבְיֹנִֽיםI know that GOD will champion the cause of the poor, the right of the needy.(ydt) [yadati] ki-yaaseh Adonai din ani mishpat evyonim
14אַךְ צַדִּיקִים יוֹדוּ לִשְׁמֶךָ יֵשְׁבוּ יְשָׁרִים אֶת־פָּנֶֽיךָThe righteous shall surely praise Your name; the upright shall dwell in Your presence.Ach tzadikim yodu lishmecha yeshvu yesharim et-paneycha
