3הַיָּם רָאָה וַיָּנֹס הַיַּרְדֵּן יִסֹּב לְאָחֽוֹרThe sea saw them and fled, Jordan ran backward,Hayam raah vayanos hayarden yisov leachor
4הֶהָרִים רָקְדוּ כְאֵילִים גְּבָעוֹת כִּבְנֵי־צֹֽאןmountains skipped like rams, hills like sheep.Heharim rakdu cheeylim gevaot kivney-tzon
5מַה־לְּךָ הַיָּם כִּי תָנוּס הַיַּרְדֵּן תִּסֹּב לְאָחֽוֹרWhat alarmed you, O sea, that you fled, Jordan, that you ran backward,Mah-lecha hayam ki tanus hayarden tisov leachor
6הֶהָרִים תִּרְקְדוּ כְאֵילִים גְּבָעוֹת כִּבְנֵי־צֹֽאןmountains, that you skipped like rams, hills, like sheep?Heharim tirkdu cheeylim gevaot kivney-tzon
7מִלִּפְנֵי אָדוֹן חוּלִי אָרֶץ מִלִּפְנֵי אֱלוֹהַּ יַעֲקֹֽבTremble, O earth, at the presence of the Sovereign, at the presence of the God of Jacob,Milifney adon chuli aretz milifney eloha yaakov
