2יְֽהֹוָה אַל־בְּקֶצְפְּךָ תוֹכִיחֵנִי וּֽבַחֲמָתְךָ תְיַסְּרֵֽנִיO ETERNAL One, do not punish me in wrath; do not chastise me in fury.Yehovah al-beketzpcha tochicheni uvachamatcha teyasreni
3כִּֽי־חִצֶּיךָ נִחֲתוּ בִי וַתִּנְחַת עָלַי יָדֶֽךָFor Your arrows have struck me; Your blows have fallen upon me.Ki-chitzeycha nichatu vi vatinchat alay yadecha

8כִּֽי־כְסָלַי מָלְאוּ נִקְלֶה וְאֵין מְתֹם בִּבְשָׂרִֽיFor my sinews are full of fever; there is no soundness in my flesh.Ki-chesalay malu nikleh veeyn metom bivsari

12אֹֽהֲבַי וְרֵעַי מִנֶּגֶד נִגְעִי יַעֲמֹדוּ וּקְרוֹבַי מֵרָחֹק עָמָֽדוּMy friends and companions stand back from my affliction; my kin stand far off.Ohavay vereay mineged nigi yaamodu ukrovay merachok amadu
13וַיְנַקְשׁוּ מְבַקְשֵׁי נַפְשִׁי וְדֹרְשֵׁי רָעָתִי דִּבְּרוּ הַוּוֹת וּמִרְמוֹת כׇּל־הַיּוֹם יֶהְגּֽוּThose who seek my life lay traps; those who wish me harm speak malice; they utter deceit all the time.Vaynakshu mevakshey nafshi vedorshey raati dibru hauot umirmot kol-hayom yehgu

15וָאֱהִי כְּאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר לֹֽא־שֹׁמֵעַ וְאֵין בְּפִיו תּוֹכָחֽוֹתI am like one who does not hear, whose mouth has no retort.Vaehi keish asher lo-shomea veeyn befiv tochachot
16כִּֽי־לְךָ יְהֹוָה הוֹחָלְתִּי אַתָּה תַעֲנֶה אֲדֹנָי אֱלֹהָֽיBut I wait for You, O ETERNAL One; You will answer, O my Sovereign, my God.Ki-lecha Adonai hochalti atah taaneh adonay elohay
