1שִׁיר הַֽמַּעֲלוֹת מִמַּעֲמַקִּים קְרָאתִיךָ יְהֹוָֽהA song of ascents. Out of the depths I call You, O ETERNAL One.Shir hamaalot mimaamakim keraticha yehovah
2אֲדֹנָי שִׁמְעָה בְקוֹלִי תִּהְיֶינָה אׇזְנֶיךָ קַשֻּׁבוֹת לְקוֹל תַּחֲנוּנָֽיO my Sovereign, listen to my cry; let Your ears be attentive to my plea for mercy.Adonay shimah vekoli tihyeynah ozneycha kashuvot lekol tachanunay
3אִם־עֲוֺנוֹת תִּשְׁמׇר־יָהּ אֲדֹנָי מִי יַעֲמֹֽדIf You keep account of sins, O Yah, my Sovereign, who will survive?Im-aonot tishmor-yah adonay mi yaamod
4כִּֽי־עִמְּךָ הַסְּלִיחָה לְמַעַן תִּוָּרֵֽאYours is the power to forgive so that You may be held in awe.Ki-imcha haslichah lemaan tivare
5קִוִּיתִי יְהֹוָה קִוְּתָה נַפְשִׁי וְֽלִדְבָרוֹ הוֹחָֽלְתִּיI look to GOD; my whole being is looking; I await God’s word.Kiviti Adonai kiutah nafshi velidvaro hochalti

7יַחֵל יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶל־יְהֹוָה כִּֽי־עִם־יְהֹוָה הַחֶסֶד וְהַרְבֵּה עִמּוֹ פְדֽוּתO Israel, wait for GOD; for with GOD is steadfast love and great power to redeem.Yachel yisrael el-Adonai ki-im-Adonai hachesed veharbeh imo fedut
