1שִׁיר הַֽמַּעֲלוֹת אַשְׁרֵי כׇּל־יְרֵא יְהֹוָה הַהֹלֵךְ בִּדְרָכָֽיוA song of ascents. Happy is any man who fears GOD, who follows godly ways.Shir hamaalot ashrey kol-yere Adonai haholech bidrachayv
2יְגִיעַ כַּפֶּיךָ כִּי תֹאכֵל אַשְׁרֶיךָ וְטוֹב לָֽךְYou shall enjoy the fruit of your labors; you shall be happy and you shall prosper.Yegia kapeycha ki tochel ashreycha vetov lach
3אֶשְׁתְּךָ כְּגֶפֶן פֹּרִיָּה בְּיַרְכְּתֵי בֵיתֶךָ בָּנֶיךָ כִּשְׁתִלֵי זֵיתִים סָבִיב לְשֻׁלְחָנֶֽךָYour wife shall be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children, like olive saplings around your table.Eshtcha kegefen poriyah beyarktey veytecha baneycha kishtiley zeytim saviv leshulchanecha
4הִנֵּה כִי־כֵן יְבֹרַךְ גָּבֶר יְרֵא יְהֹוָֽהSo shall all who fear GOD be blessed.Hineh chi-chen yevorach gaver yere yehovah
5יְבָרֶכְךָ יְהֹוָה מִצִּיּוֹן וּרְאֵה בְּטוּב יְרוּשָׁלָ͏ִם כֹּל יְמֵי חַיֶּֽיךָMay GOD bless you from Zion; may you share the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life,Yevarechcha Adonai mitzion ureh betuv yerushalam kol yemey chayeycha
