1אָהַבְתִּי כִּי־יִשְׁמַע יְהֹוָה אֶת־קוֹלִי תַּחֲנוּנָֽיI love the ETERNAL One for hearing my voice, my pleas;Ahavti ki-yishma Adonai et-koli tachanunay
2כִּֽי־הִטָּה אׇזְנוֹ לִי וּבְיָמַי אֶקְרָֽאfor turning an ear to me whenever I call.Ki-hitah ozno li uvyamay ekra
3אֲפָפוּנִי חֶבְלֵי־מָוֶת וּמְצָרֵי שְׁאוֹל מְצָאוּנִי צָרָה וְיָגוֹן אֶמְצָֽאThe bonds of death encompassed me; the torments of Sheol overtook me. I came upon trouble and sorrowAfafuni chevley-mavet umtzarey sheol metzauni tzarah veyagon emtza
4וּבְשֵֽׁם־יְהֹוָה אֶקְרָא אָנָּה יְהֹוָה מַלְּטָה נַפְשִֽׁיand I invoked GOD’s name, “O ETERNAL One, save my life!”Uvshem-Adonai ekra anah Adonai maltah nafshi
5חַנּוּן יְהֹוָה וְצַדִּיק וֵאלֹהֵינוּ מְרַחֵֽםGOD is gracious and beneficent; our God is compassionate.Chanun Adonai vetzadik veloheynu merachem

9אֶתְהַלֵּךְ לִפְנֵי יְהֹוָה בְּאַרְצוֹת הַחַיִּֽיםI shall walk before GOD in the lands of the living.Ethalech lifney Adonai beartzot hachayim
10הֶאֱמַנְתִּי כִּי אֲדַבֵּר אֲנִי עָנִיתִי מְאֹֽדI trust [in GOD]; out of great suffering I spokeHeemanti ki adaber ani aniti meod
11אֲנִי אָמַרְתִּי בְחׇפְזִי כׇּֽל־הָאָדָם כֹּזֵֽבand said rashly, “All people are false.”Ani amarti vechofzi kol-haadam kozev
12מָה־אָשִׁיב לַיהֹוָה כׇּֽל־תַּגְמוּלוֹהִי עָלָֽיHow can I repay GOD for all the bounties given to me?Mah-ashiv layhovah kol-tagmulohi alay
13כּוֹס־יְשׁוּעוֹת אֶשָּׂא וּבְשֵׁם יְהֹוָה אֶקְרָֽאI raise the cup of deliverance and invoke GOD’s name.Kos-yeshuot esa uvshem Adonai ekra
14נְדָרַי לַיהֹוָה אֲשַׁלֵּם נֶגְדָה־נָּא לְכׇל־עַמּֽוֹI will pay my vows to GOD in the presence of all those assembled.Nedaray layhovah ashalem negdah-na lechol-amo
15יָקָר בְּעֵינֵי יְהֹוָה הַמָּוְתָה לַחֲסִידָֽיוThe death of God’s faithful ones is grievous in GOD’s sight.Yakar beeyney Adonai hamavtah lachasidayv
16אָנָּה יְהֹוָה כִּי־אֲנִי עַבְדֶּךָ אֲֽנִי־עַבְדְּךָ בֶּן־אֲמָתֶךָ פִּתַּחְתָּ לְמֽוֹסֵרָֽיO ETERNAL One, I am Your servant, Your servant, the child of Your maidservant; You have undone the cords that bound me.Anah Adonai ki-ani avdecha ani-avdcha ben-amatecha pitachta lemoseray
