Leviticus 19:1-20:27
1וַיְדַבֵּר יְהֹוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹֽרGOD spoke to Moses, saying:
2דַּבֵּר אֶל־כׇּל־עֲדַת בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם קְדֹשִׁים תִּהְיוּ כִּי קָדוֹשׁ אֲנִי יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽםSpeak to the whole Israelite community and say to them: You shall be holy, for I, the ETERNAL your God, am holy.
3אִישׁ אִמּוֹ וְאָבִיו תִּירָאוּ וְאֶת־שַׁבְּתֹתַי תִּשְׁמֹרוּ אֲנִי יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽםYou shall each revere your mother and your father, and keep My sabbaths: I the ETERNAL am your God.
4אַל־תִּפְנוּ אֶל־הָאֱלִילִם וֵֽאלֹהֵי מַסֵּכָה לֹא תַעֲשׂוּ לָכֶם אֲנִי יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽםDo not turn to idols or make molten gods for yourselves: I the ETERNAL am your God.
5וְכִי תִזְבְּחוּ זֶבַח שְׁלָמִים לַיהֹוָה לִֽרְצֹנְכֶם תִּזְבָּחֻֽהוּWhen you sacrifice an offering of well-being to GOD, sacrifice it so that it may be accepted in your behalf.
6בְּיוֹם זִבְחֲכֶם יֵאָכֵל וּמִֽמׇּחֳרָת וְהַנּוֹתָר עַד־יוֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי בָּאֵשׁ יִשָּׂרֵֽףIt shall be eaten on the day you sacrifice it, or on the day after; but what is left by the third day must be consumed in fire.
7וְאִם הֵאָכֹל יֵאָכֵל בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁי פִּגּוּל הוּא לֹא יֵרָצֶֽהIf it should be eaten on the third day, it is an offensive thing, it will not be acceptable.
8וְאֹֽכְלָיו עֲוֺנוֹ יִשָּׂא כִּֽי־אֶת־קֹדֶשׁ יְהֹוָה חִלֵּל וְנִכְרְתָה הַנֶּפֶשׁ הַהִוא מֵעַמֶּֽיהָAnd one who eats of it shall bear the guilt for having profaned what is sacred to GOD; that person shall be cut off from kin.
9וּֽבְקֻצְרְכֶם אֶת־קְצִיר אַרְצְכֶם לֹא תְכַלֶּה פְּאַת שָׂדְךָ לִקְצֹר וְלֶקֶט קְצִֽירְךָ לֹא תְלַקֵּֽטWhen you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap all the way to the edges of your field, or gather the gleanings of your harvest.
10וְכַרְמְךָ לֹא תְעוֹלֵל וּפֶרֶט כַּרְמְךָ לֹא תְלַקֵּט לֶֽעָנִי וְלַגֵּר תַּעֲזֹב אֹתָם אֲנִי יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽםYou shall not pick your vineyard bare, or gather the fallen fruit of your vineyard; you shall leave them for the poor and the stranger: I the ETERNAL am your God.
11לֹא תִּגְנֹבוּ וְלֹא־תְכַחֲשׁוּ וְלֹֽא־תְשַׁקְּרוּ אִישׁ בַּעֲמִיתֽוֹYou shall not steal; you shall not deal deceitfully or falsely with one another.
12וְלֹֽא־תִשָּׁבְעוּ בִשְׁמִי לַשָּׁקֶר וְחִלַּלְתָּ אֶת־שֵׁם אֱלֹהֶיךָ אֲנִי יְהֹוָֽהYou shall not swear falsely by My name, profaning the name of your God: I am the ETERNAL.
13לֹֽא־תַעֲשֹׁק אֶת־רֵֽעֲךָ וְלֹא תִגְזֹל לֹֽא־תָלִין פְּעֻלַּת שָׂכִיר אִתְּךָ עַד־בֹּֽקֶרYou shall not defraud your fellow. You shall not commit robbery. The wages of a laborer shall not remain with you until morning.
14לֹא־תְקַלֵּל חֵרֵשׁ וְלִפְנֵי עִוֵּר לֹא תִתֵּן מִכְשֹׁל וְיָרֵאתָ מֵּאֱלֹהֶיךָ אֲנִי יְהֹוָֽהYou shall not insult the deaf, or place a stumbling block before the blind. You shall fear your God: I am the ETERNAL.
15לֹא־תַעֲשׂוּ עָוֶל בַּמִּשְׁפָּט לֹא־תִשָּׂא פְנֵי־דָל וְלֹא תֶהְדַּר פְּנֵי גָדוֹל בְּצֶדֶק תִּשְׁפֹּט עֲמִיתֶֽךָYou shall not render an unfair decision: do not favor the poor or show deference to the rich; judge your kindred fairly.
16לֹא־תֵלֵךְ רָכִיל בְּעַמֶּיךָ לֹא תַעֲמֹד עַל־דַּם רֵעֶךָ אֲנִי יְהֹוָֽהDo not deal basely with members of your people. Do not profit by the blood of your fellow: I am GOD.
17לֹֽא־תִשְׂנָא אֶת־אָחִיךָ בִּלְבָבֶךָ הוֹכֵחַ תּוֹכִיחַ אֶת־עֲמִיתֶךָ וְלֹא־תִשָּׂא עָלָיו חֵֽטְאYou shall not hate your kinsfolk in your heart. Reprove your kindred but incur no guilt on their account.
18לֹֽא־תִקֹּם וְלֹֽא־תִטֹּר אֶת־בְּנֵי עַמֶּךָ וְאָֽהַבְתָּ לְרֵעֲךָ כָּמוֹךָ אֲנִי יְהֹוָֽהYou shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against members of your people. Love your fellow as yourself: I am GOD.
19אֶֽת־חֻקֹּתַי תִּשְׁמֹרוּ בְּהֶמְתְּךָ לֹא־תַרְבִּיעַ כִּלְאַיִם שָׂדְךָ לֹא־תִזְרַע כִּלְאָיִם וּבֶגֶד כִּלְאַיִם שַֽׁעַטְנֵז לֹא יַעֲלֶה עָלֶֽיךָYou shall observe My laws. You shall not let your cattle mate with a different kind; you shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed; you shall not put on cloth from a mixture of two kinds of material.
20וְאִישׁ כִּֽי־יִשְׁכַּב אֶת־אִשָּׁה שִׁכְבַת־זֶרַע וְהִוא שִׁפְחָה נֶחֱרֶפֶת לְאִישׁ וְהׇפְדֵּה לֹא נִפְדָּתָה אוֹ חֻפְשָׁהֿ לֹא נִתַּן־לָהּ בִּקֹּרֶת תִּהְיֶה לֹא יוּמְתוּ כִּי־לֹא חֻפָּֽשָׁהIf a man has carnal relations with a woman who is a slave and has been designated for another man, but has not been redeemed or given her freedom, there shall be an indemnity; they shall not, however, be put to death, since she has not been freed.
21וְהֵבִיא אֶת־אֲשָׁמוֹ לַֽיהֹוָה אֶל־פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד אֵיל אָשָֽׁםBut he must bring to the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, as his reparation offering to GOD, a ram of reparation offering.
22וְכִפֶּר עָלָיו הַכֹּהֵן בְּאֵיל הָֽאָשָׁם לִפְנֵי יְהֹוָה עַל־חַטָּאתוֹ אֲשֶׁר חָטָא וְנִסְלַח לוֹ מֵחַטָּאתוֹ אֲשֶׁר חָטָֽאWith the ram of reparation offering the priest shall make expiation for him before GOD for the sin that he committed; and the sin that he committed will be forgiven him.
23וְכִי־תָבֹאוּ אֶל־הָאָרֶץ וּנְטַעְתֶּם כׇּל־עֵץ מַאֲכָל וַעֲרַלְתֶּם עׇרְלָתוֹ אֶת־פִּרְיוֹ שָׁלֹשׁ שָׁנִים יִהְיֶה לָכֶם עֲרֵלִים לֹא יֵאָכֵֽלWhen you enter the land and plant any tree for food, you shall regard its fruit as forbidden. Three years it shall be forbidden for you, not to be eaten.
24וּבַשָּׁנָה הָרְבִיעִת יִהְיֶה כׇּל־פִּרְיוֹ קֹדֶשׁ הִלּוּלִים לַיהֹוָֽהIn the fourth year all its fruit shall be set aside for jubilation before GOD;
25וּבַשָּׁנָה הַחֲמִישִׁת תֹּֽאכְלוּ אֶת־פִּרְיוֹ לְהוֹסִיף לָכֶם תְּבוּאָתוֹ אֲנִי יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽםand only in the fifth year may you use its fruit—that its yield to you may be increased: I the ETERNAL am your God.
26לֹא תֹאכְלוּ עַל־הַדָּם לֹא תְנַחֲשׁוּ וְלֹא תְעוֹנֵֽנוּYou shall not eat anything with its blood. You shall not practice divination or soothsaying.
27לֹא תַקִּפוּ פְּאַת רֹאשְׁכֶם וְלֹא תַשְׁחִית אֵת פְּאַת זְקָנֶֽךָYou [men] shall not round off the side-growth on your head, or destroy the side-growth of your beard.
28וְשֶׂרֶט לָנֶפֶשׁ לֹא תִתְּנוּ בִּבְשַׂרְכֶם וּכְתֹבֶת קַֽעֲקַע לֹא תִתְּנוּ בָּכֶם אֲנִי יְהֹוָֽהYou shall not make gashes in your flesh for the dead, or incise any marks on yourselves: I am GOD.
29אַל־תְּחַלֵּל אֶֽת־בִּתְּךָ לְהַזְנוֹתָהּ וְלֹא־תִזְנֶה הָאָרֶץ וּמָלְאָה הָאָרֶץ זִמָּֽהDo not degrade your daughter and make her a prostitute, lest the land fall into prostitution and the land be filled with depravity.
30אֶת־שַׁבְּתֹתַי תִּשְׁמֹרוּ וּמִקְדָּשִׁי תִּירָאוּ אֲנִי יְהֹוָֽהYou shall keep My sabbaths and venerate My sanctuary: I am GOD.
31אַל־תִּפְנוּ אֶל־הָאֹבֹת וְאֶל־הַיִּדְּעֹנִים אַל־תְּבַקְשׁוּ לְטׇמְאָה בָהֶם אֲנִי יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽםDo not turn to ghosts and do not inquire of familiar spirits, to be defiled by them: I the ETERNAL am your God.
32מִפְּנֵי שֵׂיבָה תָּקוּם וְהָדַרְתָּ פְּנֵי זָקֵן וְיָרֵאתָ מֵּאֱלֹהֶיךָ אֲנִי יְהֹוָֽהYou shall rise before the aged and show deference to the old; you shall fear your God: I am the ETERNAL.
33וְכִֽי־יָגוּר אִתְּךָ גֵּר בְּאַרְצְכֶם לֹא תוֹנוּ אֹתֽוֹWhen strangers reside with you in your land, you shall not wrong them.
34כְּאֶזְרָח מִכֶּם יִהְיֶה לָכֶם הַגֵּר הַגָּר אִתְּכֶם וְאָהַבְתָּ לוֹ כָּמוֹךָ כִּֽי־גֵרִים הֱיִיתֶם בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם אֲנִי יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽםThe strangers who reside with you shall be to you as your citizens; you shall love each one as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I the ETERNAL am your God.
35לֹא־תַעֲשׂוּ עָוֶל בַּמִּשְׁפָּט בַּמִּדָּה בַּמִּשְׁקָל וּבַמְּשׂוּרָֽהYou shall not falsify measures of length, weight, or capacity.
36מֹאזְנֵי צֶדֶק אַבְנֵי־צֶדֶק אֵיפַת צֶדֶק וְהִין צֶדֶק יִהְיֶה לָכֶם אֲנִי יְהֹוָה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר־הוֹצֵאתִי אֶתְכֶם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָֽיִםYou shall have an honest balance, honest weights, an honest ephah, and an honest hin. I the ETERNAL am your God who freed you from the land of Egypt.
37וּשְׁמַרְתֶּם אֶת־כׇּל־חֻקֹּתַי וְאֶת־כׇּל־מִשְׁפָּטַי וַעֲשִׂיתֶם אֹתָם אֲנִי יְהֹוָֽהYou shall faithfully observe all My laws and all My rules: I am GOD.
38וַיְדַבֵּר יְהֹוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹֽרAnd GOD spoke to Moses:
39וְאֶל־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל תֹּאמַר אִישׁ אִישׁ מִבְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמִן־הַגֵּר הַגָּר בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר יִתֵּן מִזַּרְעוֹ לַמֹּלֶךְ מוֹת יוּמָת עַם הָאָרֶץ יִרְגְּמֻהוּ בָאָֽבֶןSay further to the Israelite people: Anyone among the Israelites, or among the strangers residing in Israel, who gives any offspring to Molech, shall be put to death; the people of the land shall pelt them with stones.
40וַאֲנִי אֶתֵּן אֶת־פָּנַי בָּאִישׁ הַהוּא וְהִכְרַתִּי אֹתוֹ מִקֶּרֶב עַמּוֹ כִּי מִזַּרְעוֹ נָתַן לַמֹּלֶךְ לְמַעַן טַמֵּא אֶת־מִקְדָּשִׁי וּלְחַלֵּל אֶת־שֵׁם קׇדְשִֽׁיAnd I will set My face against [that party], whom I will cut off from among their kin for having given offspring to Molech and so defiled My sanctuary and profaned My holy name.
41וְאִם הַעְלֵם יַעְלִימֽוּ עַם הָאָרֶץ אֶת־עֵֽינֵיהֶם מִן־הָאִישׁ הַהוּא בְּתִתּוֹ מִזַּרְעוֹ לַמֹּלֶךְ לְבִלְתִּי הָמִית אֹתֽוֹAnd if the people of the land should shut their eyes to that party’s giving offspring to Molech, and should not put them to death,
42וְשַׂמְתִּי אֲנִי אֶת־פָּנַי בָּאִישׁ הַהוּא וּבְמִשְׁפַּחְתּוֹ וְהִכְרַתִּי אֹתוֹ וְאֵת כׇּל־הַזֹּנִים אַחֲרָיו לִזְנוֹת אַחֲרֵי הַמֹּלֶךְ מִקֶּרֶב עַמָּֽםI Myself will set My face against not only that party but also their clan; and I will cut them off from among their people—all who follow in going astray after Molech.
43וְהַנֶּפֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר תִּפְנֶה אֶל־הָֽאֹבֹת וְאֶל־הַיִּדְּעֹנִים לִזְנֹת אַחֲרֵיהֶם וְנָתַתִּי אֶת־פָּנַי בַּנֶּפֶשׁ הַהִוא וְהִכְרַתִּי אֹתוֹ מִקֶּרֶב עַמּֽוֹAnd if any person turns to ghosts and familiar spirits and goes astray after them, I will set My face against that person—and I will cut them off from among their kin.
44וְהִתְקַדִּשְׁתֶּם וִהְיִיתֶם קְדֹשִׁים כִּי אֲנִי יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽםYou shall sanctify yourselves and be holy, for I the ETERNAL am your God.
45וּשְׁמַרְתֶּם אֶת־חֻקֹּתַי וַעֲשִׂיתֶם אֹתָם אֲנִי יְהֹוָה מְקַדִּשְׁכֶֽםYou shall faithfully observe My laws: I GOD make you holy.
46כִּֽי־אִישׁ אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יְקַלֵּל אֶת־אָבִיו וְאֶת־אִמּוֹ מוֹת יוּמָת אָבִיו וְאִמּוֹ קִלֵּל דָּמָיו בּֽוֹRegarding anyone who insults their father or their mother: they shall be put to death; they have insulted their father and their mother—and the bloodguilt is theirs.
47וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִנְאַף אֶת־אֵשֶׁת אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִנְאַף אֶת־אֵשֶׁת רֵעֵהוּ מֽוֹת־יוּמַת הַנֹּאֵף וְהַנֹּאָֽפֶתIf a man commits adultery with a married woman—committing adultery with another man’s wife—the adulterer and the adulteress shall be put to death.
48וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁכַּב אֶת־אֵשֶׁת אָבִיו עֶרְוַת אָבִיו גִּלָּה מֽוֹת־יוּמְתוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם דְּמֵיהֶם בָּֽםIf a man lies with his father’s wife, it is the nakedness of his father that he has uncovered; the two shall be put to death—and the bloodguilt is theirs.
49וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁכַּב אֶת־כַּלָּתוֹ מוֹת יוּמְתוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם תֶּבֶל עָשׂוּ דְּמֵיהֶם בָּֽםIf a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them shall be put to death; they have committed incest—and the bloodguilt is theirs.
50וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁכַּב אֶת־זָכָר מִשְׁכְּבֵי אִשָּׁה תּוֹעֵבָה עָשׂוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם מוֹת יוּמָתוּ דְּמֵיהֶם בָּֽםIf a man lies with a male as one lies with a woman, the two of them have done an abhorrent thing; they shall be put to death—and the bloodguilt is theirs.
51וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִקַּח אֶת־אִשָּׁה וְאֶת־אִמָּהּ זִמָּה הִוא בָּאֵשׁ יִשְׂרְפוּ אֹתוֹ וְאֶתְהֶן וְלֹא־תִהְיֶה זִמָּה בְּתוֹכְכֶֽםIf a man marries a woman and her mother, it is depravity; both he and they shall be put to the fire, that there be no depravity among you.
52וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִתֵּן שְׁכׇבְתּוֹ בִּבְהֵמָה מוֹת יוּמָת וְאֶת־הַבְּהֵמָה תַּהֲרֹֽגוּIf a man has carnal relations with an animal, he shall be put to death; and you shall kill the animal.
53וְאִשָּׁה אֲשֶׁר תִּקְרַב אֶל־כׇּל־בְּהֵמָה לְרִבְעָהֿ אֹתָהּ וְהָרַגְתָּ אֶת־הָאִשָּׁה וְאֶת־הַבְּהֵמָה מוֹת יוּמָתוּ דְּמֵיהֶם בָּֽםIf a woman approaches any animal to mate with it, you shall kill the woman and the animal; they shall be put to death—and the bloodguilt is theirs.
54וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר־יִקַּח אֶת־אֲחֹתוֹ בַּת־אָבִיו אוֹ בַת־אִמּוֹ וְרָאָה אֶת־עֶרְוָתָהּ וְהִֽיא־תִרְאֶה אֶת־עֶרְוָתוֹ חֶסֶד הוּא וְנִכְרְתוּ לְעֵינֵי בְּנֵי עַמָּם עֶרְוַת אֲחֹתוֹ גִּלָּה עֲוֺנוֹ יִשָּֽׂאIf a man marries his sister, the daughter of either his father or his mother, so that he sees her nakedness and she sees his nakedness, it is a disgrace; they shall be excommunicated in the sight of their kinsfolk. He has uncovered the nakedness of his sister, he shall bear the guilt.
55וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר־יִשְׁכַּב אֶת־אִשָּׁה דָּוָה וְגִלָּה אֶת־עֶרְוָתָהּ אֶת־מְקֹרָהּ הֶֽעֱרָה וְהִוא גִּלְּתָה אֶת־מְקוֹר דָּמֶיהָ וְנִכְרְתוּ שְׁנֵיהֶם מִקֶּרֶב עַמָּֽםIf a man lies with a woman during her menstrual condition and uncovers her nakedness, he has laid bare her flow and she has exposed her blood flow; both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
56וְעֶרְוַת אֲחוֹת אִמְּךָ וַאֲחוֹת אָבִיךָ לֹא תְגַלֵּה כִּי אֶת־שְׁאֵרוֹ הֶעֱרָה עֲוֺנָם יִשָּֽׂאוּYou shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister or of your father’s sister, for that is laying bare one’s own flesh; they shall bear the guilt.
57וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִשְׁכַּב אֶת־דֹּדָתוֹ עֶרְוַת דֹּדוֹ גִּלָּה חֶטְאָם יִשָּׂאוּ עֲרִירִים יָמֻֽתוּIf a man lies with his uncle’s wife, it is his uncle’s nakedness that he has uncovered. They shall bear the guilt: they shall die childless.
58וְאִישׁ אֲשֶׁר יִקַּח אֶת־אֵשֶׁת אָחִיו נִדָּה הִוא עֶרְוַת אָחִיו גִּלָּה עֲרִירִים יִהְיֽוּIf a man marries the wife of his brother, it is indecency. It is the nakedness of his brother that he has uncovered; they shall remain childless.
59וּשְׁמַרְתֶּם אֶת־כׇּל־חֻקֹּתַי וְאֶת־כׇּל־מִשְׁפָּטַי וַעֲשִׂיתֶם אֹתָם וְלֹא־תָקִיא אֶתְכֶם הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר אֲנִי מֵבִיא אֶתְכֶם שָׁמָּה לָשֶׁבֶת בָּֽהּYou shall faithfully observe all My laws and all My regulations, lest the land to which I bring you to settle in spew you out.
60וְלֹא תֵֽלְכוּ בְּחֻקֹּת הַגּוֹי אֲשֶׁר־אֲנִי מְשַׁלֵּחַ מִפְּנֵיכֶם כִּי אֶת־כׇּל־אֵלֶּה עָשׂוּ וָאָקֻץ בָּֽםYou shall not follow the practices of the nation that I am driving out before you. For it is because they did all these things that I abhorred them
61וָאֹמַר לָכֶם אַתֶּם תִּֽירְשׁוּ אֶת־אַדְמָתָם וַאֲנִי אֶתְּנֶנָּה לָכֶם לָרֶשֶׁת אֹתָהּ אֶרֶץ זָבַת חָלָב וּדְבָשׁ אֲנִי יְהֹוָה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר־הִבְדַּלְתִּי אֶתְכֶם מִן־הָֽעַמִּֽיםand said to you: You shall possess their land, for I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey. I the ETERNAL am your God who has set you apart from other peoples.
62וְהִבְדַּלְתֶּם בֵּֽין־הַבְּהֵמָה הַטְּהֹרָה לַטְּמֵאָה וּבֵין־הָעוֹף הַטָּמֵא לַטָּהֹר וְלֹֽא־תְשַׁקְּצוּ אֶת־נַפְשֹֽׁתֵיכֶם בַּבְּהֵמָה וּבָעוֹף וּבְכֹל אֲשֶׁר תִּרְמֹשׂ הָֽאֲדָמָה אֲשֶׁר־הִבְדַּלְתִּי לָכֶם לְטַמֵּֽאSo you shall set apart the pure animal from the impure, the impure bird from the pure. You shall not draw abomination upon yourselves through that which I have set apart for you to treat as impure—[whether] animal or bird or anything with which the ground is alive.
63וִהְיִיתֶם לִי קְדֹשִׁים כִּי קָדוֹשׁ אֲנִי יְהֹוָה וָאַבְדִּל אֶתְכֶם מִן־הָֽעַמִּים לִהְיוֹת לִֽיYou shall be holy to Me, for I GOD am holy, and I have set you apart from other peoples to be Mine.
64וְאִישׁ אֽוֹ־אִשָּׁה כִּי־יִהְיֶה בָהֶם אוֹב אוֹ יִדְּעֹנִי מוֹת יוּמָתוּ בָּאֶבֶן יִרְגְּמוּ אֹתָם דְּמֵיהֶם בָּֽםA man or a woman who has a ghost or a familiar spirit shall be put to death; they shall be pelted with stones—and the bloodguilt is theirs.
